Fl. 113 mm wide; perianth segments 42mm long, broadly ovate, creamy yellow, touched green, with a white mucro, plane, smooth; corona 45mm long, cylindrical, constricted at base, vivid yellow, paling towards base, with mouth a little flared. Resembles ‘Verdant’ in form.

Perianth “Ace of Spades” outline; corona waisted at base, cylindrical with slightly flare; deep yellow.

Origin of Name

A beautiful, lazy, South African river that is great for bird watching and hippopotamus too.
